Packaging: Each boutonniere is wrapped in green stem tape, placed in an individual plastic sleeve, and secured with a water tube to ensure hydration during transit.

Note: Ribbon and pins are not included. Please wrap with twine or ½- ¼-inch ribbon to match your style and colors.
Unpack the Boutonniere:
- Remove the boutonniere from its plastic wrapping and water tube.
Trim and Rehydrate:
- If the boutonniere is in a water tube, remove it, trim the stem, refill the tube with fresh water, and place the boutonniere back in the tube.
- Allow it to rehydrate for 5–10 hours.
Prepare for Storage:
- Line a Tupperware container with slightly damp paper towels.
- Place the boutonniere(s) on top of the paper towels, then cover them with another slightly damp paper towel.
Seal and Store:
- Close the container tightly and place it in the refrigerator.
Day-of Preparation:
- On the day of the event, remove the boutonniere from storage, wrap the stems with twine or ribbon, and don’t forget the pins for securing it (see video tutorial here). Note: Ribbon and pins are not included. Please wrap with twine or ½- ¼-inch ribbon to match your style and colors.

This is always done as a last resort, and is something every florist and DIY floral company has to do on occasion. We’re not playing games with your heart, we simply want to deliver the best possible goodies on crop.
Reasons we'd make a swap: flower becomes unavailable, flower color is incorrect, botanicals are not in baller enough condition to grace your wedding. We will sub in a similar color, shape, and price-point to do you right, but are not always able to notify you in last-minute situations. Working with live product be like that.
Please note that in case of major shipping delays or flowers lost in transit, Flower Moxie will not be able to ship new premade boutonnieres. We will ship flowers for you to arrange.

When should I place my prom bouquet order?
We recommend placing your order at least 14 days before your desired delivery date.
If you miss the cutoff, don’t worry—reach out to us at Orders@flowermoxie.com. While we won’t be able to fulfill pre-made bouquets, we’ll gladly help you with a box of flowers so you and your besties can DIY your own prom bouquets from scratch
When should I schedule delivery for my prom bouquets and boutonnieres?
We recommend scheduling delivery 2–3 days before your prom. This ensures the flowers have ample time to open up and look their best (or "slay," as you kids say 😎). Plus, it provides a buffer in case of any unexpected transit delays, so your blooms arrive in time for the big day!
Can I get a discount if I don't need the free boutonnieres?
Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer a discount. The boutonnieres are a complimentary bonus we include for fun and convenience. If you don’t need them, consider passing them along to your dateless buddies in the friend zone—they’ll appreciate the gesture! 😊
