The Good:I'll be honest, it took me a while to come around to sticking veggies into my floral designs, but once I did, I was hooked! It kinda reminds me of a protea in the fact that it only takes one to make a statement. I also love the fact that they are so HUGE when you invert the leaves.
The Bad: There's not a lot of bad about kale! The stems can be very large and heavy, so they will take up lots of space in your floral foam.
Kale is a 'Luxury Accent'. Based on our design suggestions and this flower's specific bunch size, here are our quantity recommendation:
- Bridal Bouquet: 1-2 stems
- Maids: 1 stem
- Bouts: Too large
- Corsages: Too large
- Centerpieces: 1-2 stems
- Large Arrangements: 1-2 bunches

For example, if a flower becomes unavailable (off crop), incorrect color, or not in good condition to grace a wedding function we will substitute a flower that has a similar color and price-point.
Acceptable Subs: Kale is a tricky greenery to substitute because it's so unique, so we would have to base a sub off of your existing order and color palette.
