The Good: Italian Anthuriums are classy, modern, and high-end blooms with an impressive, oversized presence and truly special colors. They are very long-lasting (sometimes lasting weeks) and feature thicker petals that make them more durable and less prone to bruising than standard anthuriums. They work beautifully in all arrangements, especially tropical designs.
The Bad: Even though Italian Anthuriums are thicker and bruise less easily than regular varieties, not every bloom will be perfect. It’s still normal to see small creases or occasional brown spots due to the natural texture of the flower. These minor imperfections are typical and usually don’t show in arrangements. Having a can of Design Master spray paint on hand can help correct any visible blemishes if needed.
