What was your Favorite Thing about DIY?
I loved the bonding experience that DIY enabled me to have with my sister and mom (my helpers).
Why did you Choose to DIY your Flowers?
My sister convinced me to go with Flower Moxie. To be honest, I was a little intimidated by the idea of DIYing. I'm so happy she did!
The flowers we received exceeded all of my expectations! We had a lot of fun putting the arrangements together and we were absolutely thrilled by the result.

Who did you have help from?
My incredible sister and mother. They did all of the heavy lifting.
Where did you get married and why did you choose this location?
We chose to get married in my parent's backyard. My parents have a naturescaped yard with only Florida native plants. We love nature and their space. We were so happy they allowed us to have the ceremony there.
Was it a destination wedding?
Not really. We (bride and groom) live in Tampa, FL and the wedding was in Gainesville, FL.
What was your favorite part of the wedding day?
The ceremony.

In hindsight is there anything you would have done differently?
I would have given myself a little bit more time to get creative with the leftover flowers (we ordered a bit too much).
Tips for future DIYers?
Give yourself ample prep time. Watch all instructional videos and read material well ahead of time. Don't be afraid to get creative! Have at least two people helping, even if your wedding is a small event. Don't allow yourself to get stressed when you damage blooms.

What was the hardest part of DIY?
Hardest part was transport to the venue (2 hours from air cargo)
Which part of your wedding are you most proud of?
Everything. I think we pulled off a beautiful event.
