Why My Caps Lock Key Exploded
Are you sitting - there are sequins. Are you drinking - there are cacti. And bridesmaids who booty pop their affirmations of love. And a gown that dips bravely down yet is the most breathtakingly elegant thing I have ever seen. And I once saw fancy paintings in Spain y'all.
Shannon married Reid in Driftwood, Texas at a stunning Greenhouse that I have tried to duplicate in my backyard. So far I have three succulents from Home Depot.
This couple kissed amidst thousands (millions!) of desert thorns. They touched ringed hands in a turret. They danced under open air in dresses that reflected the night sky. I die. Somehow all of this bigness managed to feel so personal, like you could scoop it up in one hug.
I think it's because this couple - and all the love that surrounds them - is magic.
Any wedding where a shot of Fireball is downed after catching the bouquet is a wedding I believe in with all my heart.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to repair my keyboard.
