Easy Wedding Centerpiece with Target Bowl
Easy Wedding Centerpiece
Using a Simple Target Bowl (and a cup!)
Written by: Tiffany Thomas
Think you need to use a fancy, expensive vase or compote to create a professional-looking flower arrangement? Think again!
Today Amy shows you how to build a STUNNING centerpiece for your wedding using nothing more than a simple bowl from Target! When choosing a vessel, keep a few things in mind to recreate this look:
- Keep the overall width around 6 inches (the one used here measures 6.5 inches wide)
- Keep the vessel relatively short, around 3-4 inches tall
- Choose a neutral color to blend with your flowers
- Choose a vessel with a solid color to keep the attention on the flowers
Choose a mixture of bourgeois and affordable flowers to keep the look elevated without spending a fortune. Aim for a 75/25 blend, 75% affordable, volume flowers with 25% fancier blooms. Also feel free to forage, especially greenery, for a money-saving way to bulk up your build!
Supplies needed to achieve this look in the bowl:
- inexpensive bowl
- floral chicken wire
- mixture of blooms
- floral shears
- waterproof floral tape
- lazy susan (optional)
Supplies needed to achieve the look in the Target cup:
- inexpensive cup
- mixture of blooms
- floral shears
- bind wire
- lazy susan (optional)
