Designer Tips for This Collection
Repurposing Ceremony Arrangements
One of the best ways to maximize your DIY floral budget is to repurpose arrangements from your ceremony to the reception! As you can see in the photos from our fresh floral ceremony arrangement pictured above, it has many uses. We styled it as a ceremony arrangement raised on a stand and as a ceremony ground arrangement. Then, we repurposed it as a ground arrangement in front of the sweetheart table.
These types of arrangements could also be utilized on a fireplace mantle, near the entrance, by your cake table, or virtually anywhere else that you want to create a statement using fresh flowers.
If you're using the arrangement in a location that it will be seen on all sides, just be sure to fill out the back as well so it looks beautiful from any view!
One final thing to consider to save yourself from any disappointment is whether you're getting married outside in the heat of summer. If so, your ceremony arrangements may look a little tired for repurposing (don't we all after sitting in the heat??). In this case, it may be best to have a backup for the reception, or have some replacement blooms on hand for any that wilt and do a quick swap.
