Meet Hanna

Custom Designer / Celebrity Cat Nip

  • Met Stanley from The Office at the Miami Airport
  • Got an autograph from George Clooney on her glow-in-the-dark cast (hot)
  • Quit her SALES DIRECTOR job to learn flowers (didn’t tell husband lol)
  • Winged her cousin’s wedding and was immediately hooked
  • Big fan of organic and loose arrangements
  • Wants her pieces to “dance with the wind”
  • Runs her floral design/events business (@bridgeandco_) from her garage with a $100 flower cooler
  • Has 2 offspring nicknamed “Beans” and “Sister Thickness”
  • Can’t handle waspy garbage cans, will simply pass away

Hanna learned everything she knows from Pinterest and Amy. She’s a from-scratch, born-again florist who relates to the DIY bride on a spiritual level.

She would “physically die” for “most of” her brides. She’s here to be your hype woman, your zero to hero confidence boost, and is suspiciously gifted at plucking ideas from the depths of your brain. Hanna works tirelessly to make sure every design is stupid-unique and trembling with smokeshow texture.

What’s your favorite wedding you’ve designed and why did it stand out?

I designed a really ethereal wedding back in 2024 that was very “witchy” and eclectic. We used tons of weird textural pieces, dark and moody florals.

This past May, I designed the wedding for a venue owner's daughter! She wanted it to be very bright and playful. SO many beautiful blooms, bright colors, a chandelier with ribbons and flowers hanging from it, flowers growing out of the ground, candles everywhere, a literal garden soiree dream!

What is one tool you’d never leave the studio without on wedding day?

ZIPTIES !!!!!!!

If you could invent a flower that doesn’t exist, what would it look like?

More blue flowers lol I don’t care what they look like or any of that, just more *natural* blue flowers

Wedding day drink of choice:

After shotgunning a celsius or pre-workout at approximately 3am, I chug water all day. Stay hydrated, friends.

Describe your floral design style in 3 words.

Organic, bouncy, funky

What’s your best piece of advice for a DIY bride?

Don’t put so much pressure on yourself! And don’t try to replicate a pinterest picture that you’ve seen while you’re designing your pieces.

Relax and let your work speak for itself and put your own magic touch to it - you will drive yourself insane trying to make your work look like someone else’s - and what’s the fun in that? You have full design freedom to make it yours!! RELAX AND HAVE FUN! Doing your own wedding flowers is the biggest flex known to man.

What floral trend do you secretly hope sticks around forever?

BUD VASES FOREVER, BABY!!! And floral meadows at the base of the cake stand - if that trend has no more fans, it’s because I am dead.

What color palette will you never get tired of designing with?

Bright! Give me all of the colors - hot pinks, bright yellows, oranges, blues, purples!

What’s one thing you’d go back in time and tell your past self on your wedding day?

Really take it all in. You’ll never be in the same room with every single person that is there for YOU again, so really savor the entire weekend and soak it all up!

What’s the one thing all brides should do or have the day/morning of their wedding?

Quiet time - seriously, decompress and soak in every single detail and moment. Also, don’t sweat the small stuff. Something WILL go wrong, but you just have to remember that you’re going to be married at the end of the day!

What’s your biggest wedding mistake? Save some lives here.

Watch the clock!! And don’t underestimate how quickly an hour passes!

Your favorite snack on design days

I don’t eat during the day because I’m too ADHD and forget, but I do ALWAYS treat myself to a Quarter Pounder, fat SALTY fries, and a CRISP diet coke lol

What’s your favorite thing about working with DIY brides/couples?

I LOVE meeting everyone and yapping about your vision with you! It’s so fun to have the chance to be such a small part of one of the best days of your life and an absolute HONOR! This job is a DREAM because of each of you - I am obsessed with Flower Moxie and the whole she-bang that I interviewed here twice, because I was not letting this job go. Shout out to Callie for believing in me!

What’s one thing you wish more people knew about florists?

We want to kiss you on the mouth when you let us have design freedom! And this one is a no-brainer for all of us in the industry…pricing….I know folks are always flabbergasted when they get their pricing for weddings, etc. but it all boils down to how much labor and love we have poured into each design.

We spend hours meeting you and wanting to learn your vision and learn YOU, sourcing florals, supplies, hard goods, creating recipes, cleaning supplies and buckets, processing the florals, breaking down the huge boxes, cleaning up debris and trash, preparing every single vase, mechanic, piece of ribbon, loading and unloading the items for transportation, setting up, tearing down, adjusting designs based on what can or can’t be done when on site, pivoting….we don’t just “play with flowers” - we truly are blue collar workers but a little more glamorous lol

Funniest/most embarrassing moment at a wedding (either yours or something you witnessed)

I haven’t really ever seen anything funny or embarrassing BUT I have seen some D R A M A. I could start a podcast or write a book lol

  • One time the Father of the Bride’s girlfriend (who was also in charge of bringing the cake….and threatened to not….) broke into the bridal suite, stole the bride’s veil and shoved it under a table….we couldn’t find it until about 5 minutes before the bride walked down the aisle.
  • One time a Groom and his FATHER pulled GUNS ON EACH OTHER LOL (five minutes after the groom tried to pet my hair like it was his lap dog)
  • One time the Aunt (weirdo) screamed “IT ISN’T TOO LATE TO CHANGE YOUR MIND” to the groom (her nephew) right before the Bride walked down
  • One time a Mother of the Groom cried so violently on the wedding day and was so insane while everyone was getting ready that she was kicked out of the bridal suite and made to leave until photos started….

This is going to be amazing!!
