Nandina- Fall Foliage
**Photo Disclaimer: I'm pretty sure this bunch of Nandina was on steroids! Nandina does come in large bunch sizes, but this felt taller than normal. Didn't want to false advertise you, sweet peas!
Stem Count: Grower's Bunch. Very large bunch sizes. Averages 4-6 main stems with many branching stems.
Description: Slender, delicate leaves, but extremely hardy. Berries possible, with colors ranging from bright red, bronze, or green. The leaves change throughout the season from deep green to a reddish-burgundy.
Why Amy loves it: Huge bunches and I ADORE the color variation for my Autumn brides! Nandina is available almost all year, but only in the Fall can you get the Autumn tones.
Season/Availability: Nandina is available almost all year, but FALL NANDINA with Autumn colors is only available in Fall months, otherwise it will be dark green. We cannot guarantee color shades on this foliage, you have to be open to the range of color it falls within as it's changing throughout the season.
Quantity: Almost all greens are packaged by weight as a 'Grower's Bunch' so there isn't a true stem count like roses, for instance. Our photos are the closest representation of the average bunch size for each specific greenery.
As a florist, here's my estimates for this particular greenery:
- Bouquets: 1/6 bunch per bouquet
- Bouts and Corsages: 1 stem per bout
- Mason Jar size arrangement: 1/8 bunch per jar
- Short Vase: 1/6 per vase
- Large Ceremony Urn: 1/2 bunch per urn
- Pergola Cage: 1/2 bunch per cage
- Chair Florals: 1/4 per chair
