Hydrangea - White, Blue, Baby Green
Description: 1 stem. Colors include white, blue, or baby green. Large, fluffy blooms at range 4-6 inches in diameter. Typically the size of a baseball.
Why I Love Hydrangea: Hydrangeas are the most popular flower in weddings and among DIY brides for various reasons. Firstly, their size. They take up so much space so you really get your money's worth! Also, they come in so many colors and you can get them year-around.
Special Care: Although they are pretty hardy, Hydrangeas require A LOT of water and they don't like extreme heat. They struggle when out of water for extended periods of time. They do not love floral foam unless the foam is in a vase of water, and make sure to use Alum on the stem before sticking into the foam. (Alum is a preservative you can get in the spice section at your local grocery store)
If you are using them in your bouquets then have a hydration vase handy for when you're not taking pictures or during ceremony time.
Season: All year
