Description: Dahlia blooms are fairly large, and grow with their head sideways. Very delicate, short vase life.
Colors: White, burgundy, blush pink, orange,
Special Care Notes: Upon receiving these beauties, give them a fresh cut, and place them in their own vase, with 2' inches of boiling hot water. Yes, you read this correctly. Let it cool to room temp and keep in them in a cool, darker location to extend vase life. If all of this frightens you, then just put them in their own vase and keep'em in a cool spot. Dahlias do well in the refrigerator as long as it's on the warmest setting.
Amy's Special Dahlia Disclaimer: These fussy, fussy little flowers! I find Dahlia's to be the 'Drama Queens' of their floral peers. None the less, I can't stay away from them because just one large blush Dinner-plate Dahlia can make the bouquet. Typically, I find only 2-3 blooms usable in a bunch, but oh-so worth it!
