The Good: Lavender not only smells divine, but also adds sweet embellishments to any bouquet or arrangement.
The Bad: Fresh Lavender can be slightly delicate and inconsistent in the "type." Sometimes it can be long and skinny, and other times it can be shorter and fat (like my Aunt Blanche).
- Give the stems a fresh cut and place in cool water.
- Store in a bucket by itself.
- Change water daily.
Lavender is considered an "Accent Flower." Based on our design suggestions, here are our recommended quantities:
- Bridal Bouquet: 6-10 stems
- Maids: 3-5 stems
- Bouts: 1-2 stems
- Corsage: 1-2 stems
- Centerpieces: 3-5 stems
- Large Arrangements: N/A, too small/short
