Description: 10 stems per bunch. Delicate, tissuey petals. Expect shorter stems. **I find the purple anemone's really range in their color from a deep indigo to a lighter, truer purple. Be flexible, lovely!
Why I love Anemones: Do I even need to explain??? They're just magical! Huge statement packed into a little flower. Only takes a few buds per arrangement or bouquet to make a huge visual impact.
Special Care Instructions: Upon receiving your Anemones, give them a fresh cut and place them in a sunny spot until they open. Once opened, move away from the sun to extend vase life.
As lovely as they are, Anemones are fussy little flowers. They are very delicate and grow a bit twisted sometimes. For this reason, I find only 6-7 stems usable per bunch so it's best to over-estimate the quantity when ordering. Anemones do not work well in bouts or corsages due to their frailness.
In saying all of this, don't be frightened away from these little jewels! I sell thousands of them, and my DIY brides love'em, it's just best to go in knowing what to expect!
Floral Amount Estimate for Your Calculation Needs:
**this is a bit tricky, because my calculations are based on other flowers being in the design. Like, not all anemones, m'kay?
- Bridal Bouquet: 5-7 stems
- Maids Bouquets: 3 Stems
- Centerpieces: 5-6 Stems
- Ceremony Urn or Pergola Cage: **stems are probably too short for big arrangements
- Aisle Chairs: **not hardy enough, sweet peas
- Bouts, Corsages, and Lil' Stuff: **Not hardy enough, one big frontal hug and you can kiss these babies goodbye!
